Formatting Scripts for Radio Broadcast on WMHS
The Header
Each script needs a header containing the following: DIRECTOR & TEAM, PROGRAM, AIR DATE, and TIME.
It should be left justified at the top of the script's first page.

MusicSong titles should be in quotation marks. "UP & UNDER" tells the Engineers to bring the song up and then down, under whatever comes next (usually a Talent). The entire command should be written in all caps, underlined, and in parentheses.

Sound EffectsSound effects should be in quotations marks, too. "UP & OUT" tells the Engineers to bring the sound effect up and let it play until it's over. The entire command should be written in all caps, double-underlined, and in parentheses.

Pre-recorded SegmentsPre-recorded segments (like commercials, PSAs, features, etc.) should be in quotation marks. "UP & OUT" tells the Engineers to bring the pre-recorded segment up and let it play until it's over. The entire command should be written in all caps, bold-underlined, and in parentheses.

TalentsTalent names should be centered and in all caps.

The Footer
Footers begin with a row of X's to show the Talents and Engineers that the script is over. After the X's, the following should be right justified: MUSIC, SFX, TALENT, and SAVED.
